    • ANSWER:
Half of the population in the world would experience decline in vision. The rate differs from each individual. I suggest consult an ophthalmologist or an optometrist. You may try also taking OPTEIN supplement. It contains lutein, some people says that it helps slow down having low vision.

    • ANSWER:
      Hi Zeadelle,

From what you've listed I get the impression your supplementation regimen isn't fully comprehensive since certain essential nutrients appear to be missing.

As a general rule, you should consume supplements with food, i.e., when you eat a meal. (Therefore, taking your vitamins at night, after a meal, is fine).

The research indicates that taking vitamins with food increases the probability of complete absorption of the nutrients in your vitamins. This basic approach also reduces your risk of experiencing side effects from nutritional supplements. For more detailed information (including study references supporting my statements) you may read the article at http://www.supplements-and-health.com/best-time-to-take-vitamins.html

The fact that there are very few people who die every year from taking supplements, or experiences serious side effects, is real-life testimony (objective reality) that vitamins are generally extremely safe. Anything stated to the contrary of this, is probably fear-mongering. Nonetheless, supplements do have risks (usually minor in nature), mostly because of an inadequate regulatory environment.

While vitamins are not approved for safety and quality by government authorities, this, unfortunately, does NOT mean that government approved products are safe or beneficial, as so many people are led to believe (or want to believe). For example, pharmaceutical medications kill over 100,000 people each and every year (this is backed up by sound scientific data).

      Best wishes.

  3. QUESTION:
How can I improve my eyesight?
I have a astigmatism, so my Left is a 4.75 and my Right eye is a 5.00
It is pretty bad, and I really want to make it better before I do some laser surgery or something.
I have heard that you could actually get better eyesight
if you eat certain things or do certain things.

Some cases like farsightedness can actually improve using a repeated eye exercises. But I dont know any exercises for astigmatism.

I was diagnosed to have astigmatism on my early twenties but for some reasons when I took an eye exam a few years back they said I dont have astigmatism. I am also nearsighted because of prolong used of computers but that is improving ever since I ve been doing these eye exercise.
